Poker on
Mac - Free Mac Poker
Games!!!
The
The
Poker Room
is
the only Mac online poker
gamesite for mac poker players
that I have found that runs
without any problems on a mac
platform. Why? The
Poker
Room
was actually developed by Mac
users for Macs! I have tried it
(I use a Mac) and it works
perfectly.
Poker
Room
supports Safari too ... as long
as you have Java installed. If
you are running OS X, then you
already have Java included on
your Mac.
If you are
running OS 9 or earlier, then you
will need Macintosh Runtime for
Java 2.0 or better, which you can
download from the Apple
website.
In the past
Mac uses have been forced to use
VirtualPC with mixed results. No,
they can use an application that
is friendly to the Mac Platform.

started.
Note: If
you prefer downloading software,
I reccomend using
Party
Poker's
version. You can download it by
on this link: Download
the
Software
- It's
free. You can play for free as
long as you want from a wide
variety of games or you can play
tournaments and ring games
staring as 25cent
hands.
When you go
to the Poker Room, you will
presented with this screen. The
Image on the left side is the
Link to the Applet, and will work
for either a Mac or PC. If you
have a PC, you can choose to use
the Download version on the right
side.

A little
info about using Virtual
PC?
Mac poker
players report that Windows 2000
on Virtual PC is your best bet,
although it will run slow on
older systems. On Poker Stars,
you will need to install on a
native Windows system first, then
copy the folder contents to your
Mac VirtualPC in order for the
client to install. Updates work
normally afterward.
